The Final verdict on the Everyone’s A Star tour setup: amphitheaters won over arenas, outside of the obvious lack of air conditioning!
If you’re going to play the same states several times anyway, why not choose the slightly more intimate venues? But that’s probably a LiveNation consideration.
Regardless I always hate the waste of space in an arena – it should be STANDARD to put the stage in the middle so that nobody has tragic seats literally a mile away from the action. I’ve never understood the enjoyment of fans squinting at a screen, unless the fun is being with your companions rather than seeing the artist.
Other than that aspect of the layout, I definitely support keeping the drummer where we can see them – this was a huge win for the arena design on the Five Seconds of Summer tour.
Hope the next countries on the tour enjoy the Star vibes but sadly they will not get to experience the Band Camino and Haiden Henderson
